Hello and welcome to my website. Isn't the world wide web cool? The way that it is changing our world is amazing. This is my playground for trying out new web design ideas as well as presenting some of the my past design work. Oh, and for sharing my photography too.
I've been programming computers since 1986 and working on the web for over a decade. I'm currently doing contract web development with a little freelance work on the side. My passion is creating websites with clean layouts that focus on the benefits of designing with web standards.
I design websites that are optimized for low bandwidth, easy to navigate, visually interesting, and easy to maintain due to focusing on the techniques and benefits of designing with web standards. If your goal is to improve the findability of your website, web standards will help.
Websites that follow W3C Standards for CSS2 and XHTML have lower costs and are more efficient due to reduced load times. They are significantly easier to maintain. Their lightweight markup and clean css layout can help you stay on the right side of accessibility laws and guidelines. They are cross-browser compatible now and into the future.
